Meet Sleep-Ease CR, our pharmacist-formulated biphasic melatonin supplement that releases quickly, then steadily to help balance circadian rhythm. This natural, non-habit-forming sleep aid helps you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer without the use of antihistamines. No morning grogginess necessary.
Most melatonin supplements provide one, fast-acting dose of the nutrient which gives them a short lifespan. Our proprietary Sleep-Ease formula, on the other hand, provides an initial dose of melatonin to help you fall asleep quickly, then slowly releases more melatonin throughout the night to help you stay asleep, too. That’s why Sleep-Ease is our go-to, pharmacist-formulated sleep aid for supporting your body’s natural melatonin levels and circadian rhythm.

We follow Dr. Neal’s science-based Supplement Quality Standard — the expert’s way of choosing a supplement that works for your wellness, your wallet, and the world. When crafting our pharmacist-formulated supplements, we consider the science, compliance, virtues, and value of a product or brand before we recommend anything to you.
Around 1 in 3 American adults are sleep-deprived, recent studies show. That’s why we created our clinically-formulated, two-stage delivery melatonin supplement known as Sleep-Ease. With a biphasic release system, this particular melatonin supplement mimics the natural production of melatonin in our bodies. First, a quick-acting dose of melatonin and Vitamin B6 helps you fall asleep. Then, a slow, steady stream of additional melatonin keeps you asleep longer without the morning grogginess of traditional over-the-counter sleep aids.
When the sun sets, darkness signals the brain to produce melatonin, telling our body it’s time to sleep. Melatonin levels stay elevated to help keep us asleep helping to regulate circadian rhythm. This process synchronizes bodily functions with the environment, promoting natural rhythms of sleeping and waking. When the sun comes up, the light signals the brain to stop making melatonin.
Studies suggest that about one-third of adults in the US are sleep deprived. Changes in routine, seasonal time changes, and blue light from screens right before bed are some of the many things that can interrupt melatonin production and throw us off cycle.
This can have serious consequences on a person’s physical and mental health, including an increased risk of heart disease, obesity, depression, and anxiety. To reduce the risk of these issues, it is important to prioritize getting enough quality sleep each night and take a biphasic melatonin supplement, like Sleep-Ease, to support deeper, longer sleep cycles.
While our Sleep-Ease Melatonin has become a popular alternative to drowsiness-inducing OTC options, this product was made specifically for us, the Woodstock Vitamins team. We wanted a better melatonin option than what was available on the market — one based on the science of natural melatonin production. So we made one!
Sleep-Ease is a carefully formulated biphasic melatonin supplement, designed for optimal absorption and minimized risk of triggering an allergic reaction. It’s safe, non-habit-forming, and doesn’t leave us feeling groggy in the morning. Plus our melatonin tablets, like all of our supplements, are free from any artificial colors, preservatives, and rigorously tested for continued purity and potency.
The amount of melatonin that should be taken in a dose varies from person to person and depends on individual factors such as age, lifestyle, medical conditions, etc.
Generally, the recommended dosage is between 0.2 and 5 mg per day. It is best to consult a doctor for an accurate dosage recommendation as taking too much or too little can have negative effects on your health.
Melatonin supplements are not always regulated by the FDA and therefore can contain contaminants. The most commonly found contaminants include heavy metals like lead and mercury, pesticides, and plasticizers (such as phthalates).
We keep wellness simple by adhering to the Vitality Approved standard. Through our strict third-party testing, our supplements are free of all contaminants and thoroughly batch-tested for quality and potency.
i have been playing around with various melatonin products,...this one seems to be the best for me and really works...i sleep through the night now...wow!
A good relaxing blend of safe, clean ingredients, including small dose melatonin, that helped me relax and sleep. Sleep Ease took two weeks to arrive, but that could be due to the fact that it is the holidays.
No prob falling asleep but wake up frequently
I suffer from electromagnetic sensitivity which is a resilt of exposure to wireless technology like cell phones wi-fi etc. After reading scientific studies that melatonin prevents DNA damage from radiation I decided to try. I took melatonin in days I got much exposure and in the morning I will get up and feel better than if I didn't take melatonin. I tried various brands, all high quality but this melatonin has significantly better results for me than all the others I tried. If I take it after a day in which I was exposed a lot to wireless and have symptoms (headaches, overall feeling bad, feeling of electricity in the brain etc) when I take this melatonin, in the morning I feel perfect. I also take melatonin the night before a day I'm about to be exposed to prevent DNA damage. Since this is a slow release melatonin, I recommend to take it only if going to sleep no later than 10 pm and when planning a full 8 hours sleep, otherwise it may cause feeling tired during the day. Melatonin affects different people differently and so the fact that it works well for me does not mean that it will be as good for others.
