Omega 3
Omega-3 fatty acids are “good” essential fats. This means that we do not make them internally; Omega-3 fatty acids must come from our diet.
The typical American diet is high in Omega-6 and low in Omega-3, and as a result, the ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 in our body is MUCH different than what our nutritional goals would dictate.
Using properly made, concentrated Omega-3 supplements while lowering our dietary Omega-6 can help restore that balance and help us achieve important nutritional goals.
