Other Omegas

Omega 3-6-9 is a combination of three fatty acids:

Omega-3 fatty acids are one of the good types of fat. Your body can’t make them. You have to eat them or take supplements. The two most important forms of omega 3 are EPA and DHA.

Omega-6 fatty acids play a crucial role in brain function, and normal growth and development. As a type of polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), omega-6s help stimulates skin and hair growth, maintain bone health, regulate metabolism, and maintain the reproductive system.

Omega 9, or monounsaturated oleic and stearic acid, is a non-essential fatty acid produced naturally by the body whenever there is enough of either Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids. This fatty acid plays a role in promoting heart health by supporting healthy cholesterol levels and improving immune function.
